Presenting...Mystery Theatre Club

Hello everyone!

Surprise! Bet you didn’t expect this.

We’ve redecorated too…well a little. Also, substack has really changed! It’s much fancier now…anyway.

This is just a short email to give you a heads up that I’m going to start using this mailing list again soon but for a different means. 

Some of you may be aware that I’ve started the Mystery Theatre Club. Each month, audiences book in to see a theatre screening without knowing what it is. It takes place at Kitty’s Laundrette and the money we get on the door goes towards their free community clean offer. Kitty’s are amazing. Since moving to Liverpool they’ve provided me the chance to connect to the area of Liverpool I live in and get to know the community better. 

I’m going to start using etude again to help promote the Mystery Theatre Club as well and post reviews of some of the shows we’ll be doing.

There may also be a chance to start hosting some online screenings but I feel like I’m very far away from being able to offer that. But y’know…keep your eyes peeled. The big restructure will take place next year and I will be looking for some help to see what the impact of etude and it’s offer should be. We will be keeping the archive up so people have access for a backlog of shows…I think there’s 200 on here. Which is a bit mad.

I wanted to give you, the reader, the chance to opt out of etude. The offer to click unsubscribe.

This is mainly because the mailer won’t be in it’s original form and if you’re looking for a weekly list of digital shows…this won’t be it.
