If you knew what might happen in the future, what would that change? And what would you give for that knowledge?
Kathryn wants to do the right thing for her mother. But Mary can’t tell her what that is anymore and anyway, avoiding difficult conversations is a family tradition.
Tom wants to do the right thing for his mum. But Kathryn won’t tell him what that is and anyway, avoiding difficult conversations is a family tradition.
Something has to change. Before it’s too late.
The Window is an immersive audio experience blending story, music and spatial sound. Love and grief; memory and science. In the darkness, you find yourself at the heart of a story about the things families don’t talk about. Spanning three generations and 40 years, it asks what we inherit from the past and what control we have over the future.
Fuck Visibility : a liberation seder on trans day of visibility hosted by Pink Peacock
Wednesday 31st March
Suggest price £10
what is a seder?
seder means "order" in yiddish, as in the order of things. it also means interactive, scripted, collaborative dinner theatre for some jewish holidays.
peysakh (aka passover) is a major jewish holiday which has a seder. ours will be focused on the theme of trans liberation. this is more of a jewish cultural event than a religious one.
we'll hit all the beats of a traditional seder: the liberation story, the 4 cups, the (digital!) afikomen hunt, and of course eating all the items on the seder plate. we'll also have trans performers celebrating on themes of joy, excess, indulgence, and liberation.

Part performance, part installation, Hi-Vis is landing on the streets of Newcastle & Derby.
High queer, high camp, high volume - we invite members of the LGBTQIA+ community to anonymously record celebratory declarations of queerness in one part of the city, and hear them broadcast via Milk’s loud and proud hailer on the other side of the city.
The pandemic has forced LGBTQIA+ spaces to close and Pride events to cancel, leaving the community isolated from each other. With many missing their queer fam Hi-Vis is an opportunity to shout out to the LGBTQIA+ community and be heard by those who haven’t stopped to listen before.
Death Positive - States of Emergency by Yael Ronan
Wednesday 31st March
from £3
For this project Yael Ronen and the ensemble embark on a research trip into the imponderable and uncertain elements of this crisis we’re all experiencing. The experience of the pandemic and lock down has given many people, the general public and government, the experience of a drastic loss of control over daily life and actions. The sudden, collective confrontation with illness and death is accompanied by political and emotional states of emergency, by considerable fear and considerable anger. Our mortality has come back into the world. Our search for a way to deal with this experience begins at the rock bottom of our current ignorance.

Only Bans by Lena Chen & Maggie Oates
Friday 2nd April
from £5
Lena Chen is a Chinese American performance artist, writer, and activist raised in an immigrant enclave in Los Angeles who constructs situations of intense yet fleeting intimacy within participatory rituals and one-to-one performances. Maggie Oates works at the intersection of art, privacy, and computing technology, building containers that facilitate collaborative play and intimacy. Building upon work with data literacy specialist Violeta Mezeklieva, Chen and Oates will create a digital performance work, taking the form of a non-linear game that critically examines the policing of marginalized bodies and sexual labor to empathetically teach people about discrimination faced by sex workers on the Internet.
