n stage, there are five clowns trying to do an avantgarde neofascist piece. Or are there five actors that just haven't noticed yet that they themselves are part of a fascist mindset already? Or both at the same time, as they can only exist as their own opposite, the opposite of things? If we appropriate the tools of the opposite side, its mechanisms and the way of thinking, we can overwrite them, turn them into something completely different. We negotiate with our own fears, we become playful, even with the things that we fear or are opposed to the most – it's only through a game than they can be disarmed. What if we imagined a neo-fascist as a sentimental, vulnerable person who questions the reality? In times when everyone has become satirical, when they appropriated tools of exaggeration, like provocation, caricature, polemic, the theatre is forced to re-claim these tools.
Boris Nikitin investigates the line between reality and fiction, between document and its fake, and just loves to blow up those categories. He plays with the rhetoric and propaganda. At first, you identify with the fascistic discourse on stage, then the fact you bought it chills you to the bone, then you ask yourself how could this happen in the first place. What is the reality represented on stage? The categories are blurred, everything is questioned

I should say that when I say “theatre” I also mean the world.
when there’s little time left, what world can we create?
What is our theatre?
a play-conversation & art installation about love, catastrophe, capitalism and climate grief, and yes, theatre too.
Let’s create new stories together in this world premiere trans-media exploration, a blending of theatre and film delivered to you live.
This is a show for everyone who loves theatre, and misses theatre, but who is sick of American theatre not living up to all it can and should be. It’s a theatrical experience where you and four actors sort out all that we loved about coming together to tell stories, rage against what’s wrong with everything, and rediscover what’s worth fighting for. And when we say “theatre,” we also mean the world.
Written by celebrated playwright Caridad Svich (Red Bike, OBIE Lifetime Achievement award) and made in collaboration with Pones.
What do you miss about the world? What can we reclaim?

Not a single task gets done on time or to completion. The bullet journal is mostly an ornamental piece on the desk. If I could just get something done, finish a single task, maybe my fingers and toes could convince my brain to get on board, pick up the pace, and produce anything. Worth a try. Might as well.

Take a walk through an ordinary house. If the ghosts of past inhabitants could be seen and heard, what stories would they tell? What actions would they replay? The inside of a kitchen cupboard is filled with the regrets of a grandmother, the bookshelves house the memories of a son. The furniture and walls of every room bursting with unnoticed life.
From the comings and goings of everyday life, stories emerge of arrivals and departures, life’s tragedies and joys, of loneliness and togetherness, of our differences and of the hopes and dreams which ultimately unite us.
imitating the dog bring their unique style of magically-real video making to a series of recorded monologues from the people of Cumbria. In five short episodes, we hear fragments of very real lives set against the magic of some very unreal situations.
STREET is a collection of real stories from the people of Cumbria – from Barrow to Brough, and Carlisle to Kendal and the villages and towns in between – retold as miniature digital installations.
FEEEEEED-v2.1 by NewfrontEars & Oozing Gloop
Saturday 27th March
Free
Where are our experiences relating to previously alien, non-human beings headed? The new livestream by NewfrontEars in collaboration with the green, autistic drag performer Oozing Gloop uses musical elements and lyrics produced by A.I. algorithms somewhere in the vastness of the subterranean fiber-optic cable network between UK and Berlin.
Oozing Gloop acts in an ever-changing, technical-failure-prone simultaneous interaction with artificial intelligence. A feedback loop is created between the artistic partners: Texts are fed in and played back in an endless loop. In this fabulating echo chamber, new myths and rituals of our current digital globalization are created – along with nonsense. What forms of audiovisual artifacts will the online convergence of humans and algorithms create beyond that?
This online happening is a search for collective forms of community participation through the filter of neural networks integrated into the performance. Is it possible to develop a common language and peer into the black boxes of AI consciousness to understand what's going on inside?
